Our qualified Imagineer’s at HighJinks will give your child the opportunity to explore their imagination as well as the ability to watch what they imagined come to life by working alone or as a team with a qualified Imagineer.

Our friendly and caring Imagineer’s will provide hours of hands on learning experiences which are bound to engage children’s curiosity as they explore everyday objects with a new perspective.

Using Emergent Curriculum your child will be able to create with their hands, build on social and emotional behaviours as well as language, cognitive, self help and physical skills while in a safe, clean and secure environment.

At HighJinks we use an emergent based curriculum. We believe that children learn from their own experience’s, through opportunities, relationships, actions, inquiries and repetition. Our Imagineer’s become the bridge that connects the children to their exploration. Supporting the children, who are seeking answers to questions and supporting the children’s investigations.

Each child learns at their own pace and with a variety of materials and a facility rich with opportunities, children will grow and learn in a warm, friendly and caring environment while having a great time.

Because the centre will not be open to the public until 9:30, before school children and Kid care children will have time on our 2 story climber by themselves as well as socialize with their peers while doing a quiet activity. Children who will be going to school will be walked to the bus stop by one of our very responsible Imagineer’s and they will make sure that they get on their bus safely.

Our after school program will provide 2 ½ hours of supervised care with a friendly and caring Imagineer who will provide activities such as arts and crafts, games, homework help and independent play. Also encouraged is fostering positive and healthy relationships, participating in activities and socializing with others.
